The GEM-CAR integration allows InputKit to authenticate with GEM-CAR using an access token (Bearer token). This token is generated in your GEM-CAR account and must then be entered in InputKit to establish the connection.
Step 1: Generate a token in GEM-CAR
To create a Bearer token, you must be signed in with an administrator account or an account that has permission to modify other users’ access.
Sign in to your GEM-SUITE account.
In the top-right of the home screen, click your name.
Click “Actif account management” (or “Users management” if you are not an administrator).
Open the “Users” tab.
Choose which user will be linked to the token.
Attention: Actions performed through this token will be considered as performed by the selected user. The token’s permissions are dictated by that user’s role and access.
Click the selected user.
Find the “REST API access key” field. The token is displayed in this field.
Step 2: Connect GEM-CAR in InputKit
In InputKit, click your name in the top-right corner.
Click “Integrations”.
Click “+ Add an integration”.
Select “GEM-Car”.
Enter your GEM-CAR Bearer token.
Click “Connect”.
