The GoRendezvous integration allows you to sync your appointments with InputKit to automate the sending of your sequences. This connection is possible through the InputKit Chrome extension.
Once the integration is configured, sendings can be triggered automatically based on the status of synced appointments.
Before you begin
To connect GoRendezvous to InputKit, you must:
use the Google Chrome browser
have installed the InputKit Chrome extension
have access to your GoRendezvous account
have access to your InputKit API key
Note: If you have not installed the InputKit Chrome extension yet or do not know where to enter your API key, read this article before continuing 👇
Add the GoRendezvous integration in InputKit
Log in to InputKit.
Click your name in the top-right corner.
Click “Integrations”.
Click “Add an integration”.
Select “GoRendezvous”.
Keep this page open, then open GoRendezvous in another Chrome tab.
Connect the InputKit Chrome extension to GoRendezvous
In a new Chrome tab, open GoRendezvous.
Log in to your GoRendezvous account.
Click the puzzle piece icon to the right of the Chrome search bar.
Select the InputKit extension.
Enter your InputKit API key.
Click “Connect”.
Once the connection is completed, return to InputKit.
Refresh the integration in InputKit
After connecting the extension:
Return to the InputKit tab.
Refresh the page.
Check that your GoRendezvous appointments appear in the integration.
When the appointments are visible, you can configure sending triggers.
Add a sending trigger
A trigger allows you to automatically send a sequence when an appointment matches the configured criteria.
To add a trigger:
In the GoRendezvous integration, click the option to add a trigger.
Select the sequence to send.
Choose the appointment status that should trigger the sending.
Add a sending delay, if needed.
Save the trigger.
Tip: For a sending after a completed appointment, we recommend choosing the “Appointment completed” status.
Tip: If the sending should happen after a completed appointment, we recommend adding a 30-minute delay.
Send a sequence to recent appointments
In the list of recent appointments, you can click “Trigger sendings”.
This option allows you to send a sequence to appointments that took place before the connection was established.
How automatic sendings work
Once the integration is connected and the trigger is configured, sendings will be completed automatically based on the synced appointments and the rules you defined.
You can review recent appointments in the integration to verify the synced data and the sending status.
Good to know
For synchronization to work, your GoRendezvous session must remain accessible in Chrome with the InputKit extension installed and connected.
If you are absent or on vacation, another person at your clinic or business should install the extension on their Chrome browser and make sure the connection remains active.
