How to connect InputKit and Zapier

Written by Guillaume

The integration between InputKit and Zapier allows you to automate sending sequences from another tool connected to Zapier. This article explains how to accept the InputKit invite on Zapier and create a Zap using the “Send Survey” action.

Access InputKit in Zapier

InputKit is currently in private mode on Zapier. To access it, use this link:

Step 1: Accept the invite and create a Zap

  1. Sign in to your Zapier account.

  2. Click “Accept Invite & Build a Zap”.

Step 2: Choose a trigger

  1. In your new Zap, start by selecting a Trigger event.

  2. Configure the Trigger based on the source tool (for example, a form, CRM, booking tool, etc.).

Step 3: Add the InputKit action (Send Survey)

  1. In the Action step, click “Choose App”.

  2. Search for and select “InputKit”.

  3. For “Action event”, select “Send Survey”.

  4. Under “Account”, click “Create new account”.

Step 4: Add your InputKit API key in Zapier

Zapier will ask you to enter your InputKit API key.

To find it in InputKit:

  1. Sign in to your InputKit account.

  2. Click your name in the top-right corner.

  3. Click “Integrations”.

  4. Scroll down to your API key.

  5. Click the copy icon to copy it.

Then, in Zapier:

  1. Paste your API key into the connection window.

  2. Click “Yes, Continue to InputKit 2”.

  3. Click “Continue”.

Step 5: Configure the sequence sending

  1. Select the sequence you want to send.

  2. Select the location.

  3. Select the language.

  4. Choose the sending method (email, sms).

  5. Make sure the required fields are properly mapped from your Trigger, including:

    • Employee (if applicable)

    • Last name

    • First name

    • Email and/or phone number

Attention: If required fields are not mapped correctly, InputKit may not receive the information needed to send the sequence.
