How to connect PlanOps to InputKit

Written by Guillaume

The integration between PlanOps and InputKit allows you to automatically send sequences based on certain events in PlanOps. This article explains how to connect your PlanOps account to InputKit and configure the associated location.

Step 1: Find your InputKit API key

Before configuring the integration in PlanOps, you need to retrieve your API key from InputKit.

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner.

  2. Click “Integrations”.

  3. Click the “API Keys” button.

  4. Copy your API key.

Step 2: Find the Location ID for the location you want to connect

You also need to retrieve the ID of the location you want to connect.

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner.

  2. Click “Settings”.

  3. Click “Locations”.

  4. Find the location you want to connect.

  5. Copy its ID.

Step 3: Configure the integration in PlanOps

  1. Go to your PlanOps account settings.

  2. Click the “Integrations” tab.

  3. Select “InputKit”.

PlanOps will then ask you for two pieces of information:

  • your “API Key”

  • your “Location ID”

Paste the API key copied from InputKit into the appropriate field.

Then paste the “Location ID” of the location you want to connect.

Step 4: Choose the trigger

Once the information is entered, choose the trigger that will send a sequence in InputKit.

The available triggers are:

  • “Job Paid”

  • “Quote Send”

Choose the one that matches your needs.

Good to know

The selected trigger determines when the sequence will be sent to your customers from PlanOps.

Tip: Make sure you connect the correct location so that sendings and results are properly associated with the right location in InputKit.
