Connecting your Slack workspace to InputKit allows you to receive notifications related to your sequences and automate certain internal communications. This integration can help your team get informed faster, for example when a dissatisfied customer is detected.

Step 1: Connect Slack in InputKit

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner.

  2. Click “Integrations”.

  3. Click “Add an integration”.

  4. Select “Slack”.

You will be redirected to Slack to sign in and authorize InputKit to access your workspaces.

  1. Select the workspaces you want.

  2. Click “Allow”.

Once completed, you will see the connection status for each workspace.

Step 2: Add a trigger

  1. Click “Add a trigger”.

  2. Select the workspace you want.

  3. Choose the trigger, for example “Form Filled completed”.

  4. Select the surveys to send.

Step 3: Choose the notification channel

  1. Select the Slack channel where you want notifications to be sent.

Note: If you have multiple locations, click “Assign a channel per location” to map locations to specific channels and better segment notifications.

Step 4: Create the trigger

Click “Create Trigger” to save the trigger.

Use case

This integration can be useful if you use Slack for internal communication and want to notify a team when an event happens, for example when a dissatisfied customer is detected.
