The Guesty integration allows you to connect your reservation data to InputKit to automate the sending of your sequences. Once the integration is configured, you can create triggers based on Guesty events and send the required information to InputKit.
Add the Guesty integration in InputKit
Log in to InputKit.
Click your name in the top-right corner.
Click “Integrations”.
Click “+ Add an integration”.
Select “Guesty”.
InputKit will then ask you to enter your “Client ID” and “Client Secret”.
Retrieve your credentials in Guesty
To retrieve the required information:
Open Guesty in a new tab.
Log in to your Guesty account.
In the side navigation menu, click the “Integrations” icon to open the dropdown menu.
Select “OAuth Applications”.
In the top-right corner, click “New Application”.
Name the application “InputKit”.
Click “Save”.
Copy the generated keys using the copy icon.
Connect Guesty to InputKit
Once you have retrieved the keys:
Return to InputKit.
Paste the “Client ID” and “Client Secret” into the corresponding fields.
Click “Connect Guesty”.
Once the connection is completed, you will see the integration status in InputKit.
Create a trigger
After connecting Guesty, you need to create a trigger to automate sendings.
To create a trigger:
In the Guesty integration, click “Create a trigger”.
Give the trigger a name.
Choose the trigger type, for example “Reservation completed”.
Select the sequence to send.
Select the InputKit location to link to the trigger.
Add a sending delay, if needed.
The sending delay is optional. It determines how long to wait before sending the sequence after the Guesty event.
Map Guesty fields with InputKit
After configuring the trigger, map the fields you want to send to InputKit.
You can map information such as:
the customer’s first name
the customer’s last name
the email address
the phone number
any other information useful for the sending or follow-up
Field mapping allows InputKit to receive the right information to create the sending and personalize the sequence.
Add filters
You can also add filters on fields, if needed.
Filters allow you to limit sendings to specific situations based on the data received from Guesty.
This step is optional.
Once the trigger, field mapping, and filters are configured, click “Create the trigger”.
Once the trigger is created, sendings can be completed automatically based on the rules configured in the Guesty integration.
