The HubSpot integration allows you to connect your CRM to InputKit so that sequences can be sent automatically based on events recorded in HubSpot.
You can configure triggers, choose which information is sent to InputKit, and add filters to control exactly which customers receive a sequence.
Connect HubSpot to InputKit
To add the integration:
Log in to InputKit.
Click your name in the top-right corner.
Click “Integrations”.
Click “Add an integration”.
Select “HubSpot”.
Click “Connect HubSpot”.
Log in to your HubSpot account.
Select the HubSpot account you want to connect and authorize the connection.
Once the connection is authorized, you will be redirected to InputKit and can begin configuring the integration.
Note: You must have the required permissions in HubSpot to authorize the connection with InputKit.
Add a trigger
A trigger determines when an InputKit sequence should be sent based on an event coming from HubSpot.
To create a trigger:
Open your HubSpot integration.
Click “Add a trigger”.
Select the event that should trigger the sending.
Choose the InputKit sequence to send.
Add a sending delay if needed.
If you want the sending to be triggered immediately, leave the delay at 0 hours.
Then click “Next”.
Choose the information sent to InputKit
You can then choose which HubSpot information should be sent to InputKit.
This may include:
the customer’s name;
their email address;
their phone number;
other information from your CRM.
Make sure the information required to send your sequence is correctly mapped before continuing.
Add filters
Filters are optional and allow you to limit sendings to specific events or customers.
For example, you could use a filter to send a sequence only when a deal meets certain criteria in HubSpot.
To add a filter:
You can add multiple filters depending on the needs of your automation.
Create the trigger
Once your configuration is complete, click “Create trigger”.
New HubSpot events that match your criteria can then automatically trigger the selected sequence in InputKit.
Trigger sendings
You can also trigger sendings from recent events synchronized with InputKit.
To do this:
Click your name in the top-right corner.
Click “Integrations”.
Open the HubSpot integration.
Review the recent events.
Click “Trigger sendings”.
This option can be useful for processing events that were received before your trigger was created.
Tip: Before triggering sendings for past events, review the selected sequence and configured filters to make sure only the appropriate customers receive a sending.
Disconnect HubSpot
If you no longer want to use the integration:
Click your name in the top-right corner.
Click “Integrations”.
Open the HubSpot integration.
Click “Disconnect”.
Confirm the disconnection.
Once HubSpot is disconnected, new events from HubSpot will no longer be able to trigger sendings in InputKit.
