How to connect Square to InputKit

Written by Guillaume

The Square integration automatically syncs your bookings and invoices with InputKit so you can trigger sequence sendings based on the events you choose.

Connect Square to InputKit

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner.

  2. Click “Integrations”.

You will then see the list of your connected integrations.

  3. Click “Add an integration”.

  4. Select “Square”.

  5. Click “Connect Square”.

  6. Sign in to your Square account.

  7. Authorize the connection.

Once the connection is authorized, you will be redirected to InputKit. You will see the connection status of the integration as well as the configuration page.

Add a trigger

After connecting Square, you can create a trigger to define which event will send a sequence.

  1. Click “Add a trigger”.

  2. Choose the event that will trigger the send, for example:

    • appointment completed

    • invoice paid

  3. Select the sequence to send.

  4. Add a sending delay if needed.

  5. Click “Next”.

Map the fields

At this step, you can choose which fields you want to send to InputKit.

  1. Check the fields you want to see in InputKit.

  2. Review the field mapping.

Note: Some fields will be selected by default, such as the customer’s name and email address.

  3. Click “Next”.

Add filters (optional)

The next step is optional. It allows you to add filters so that sequences are sent only under certain conditions.

Once your filters are configured, click “Create trigger” to finish.

Create multiple triggers

You can create multiple triggers if you want to send different sequences depending on the context.

For example, this can be useful if you want to send distinct sequences based on the service provided to the customer.
