PC Voyages – How Triggers Work and How to Connect to InputKit

Written by Guillaume

The integration between PC Voyages and InputKit allows satisfaction sequences to be sent automatically to your customers based on three key events in the traveler journey. Once the integration is activated, PC Voyages sends the required information to InputKit, which then triggers your sequences according to the configured rules.

The three available triggers

PC Voyages automatically sends data to InputKit when a specific action is performed in your software. Here are the three supported triggers:

1. Quote Sent (Soumission)

This trigger is activated when a quote is sent to the client from PC Voyages.

This scenario is often used to measure the experience during the information request or quotation phase.

2. Booking Invoice Sent

This trigger is activated when the booking invoice is sent.

It is generally the best moment to send a post-purchase survey to measure the buying experience or the support provided by the travel advisor.

3. Trip Return

This trigger occurs when the return date entered in PC Voyages is reached.

When this date is reached, PC Voyages automatically sends the case information to InputKit to send a post-trip survey.

This trigger is used to measure the client’s overall travel experience:

  • general satisfaction

  • quality of service from the agency

  • perception of the proposed trip

Even if the return date field includes a time, InputKit uses only the date to determine when to trigger the sequence.

How to connect PC Voyages to InputKit

L’intégration se fait premièrement directement dans l’interface de PC Voyages.

Voici les étapes à suivre :

Step 1 – Activate InputKit in PC Voyages

  1. Access the system configuration Menu → System Parameters:

(You may not see the exact same options, but they are always listed alphabetically.)

  2. Open the Options tab:

  3. Under the INPUTKIT section, check Active to enable the integration. A field will appear where you can enter your InputKit API key.

  4. Copy your API key from InputKit and paste it into PC Voyages.

To learn how to find your API key in InputKit, see this article:

  5. Click Save.

Step 2 – Map your branches (Location Mapping)

This step ensures that branches in PC Voyages are properly associated with the correct locations in InputKit.

  1. In PC Voyages, return to the Quick Menu → System Configuration.

  2. Click Branches.

  3. You will see the list of all your branches.

  4. For each branch:

    • Double-click the branch to open its settings.

    • Scroll down to the section INPUTKIT – LOCALISATIONS.

    • A dropdown list containing your InputKit Locations will appear.

    • Select the InputKit location that corresponds to this branch.

  5. Repeat these steps for each branch.

This ensures that the right customers are assigned to the correct locations in InputKit, allowing you to properly segment results and automated sends.
